What we do

unsubscrib is a free service that helps you unsubscribe from marketing emails. When you forward an email to us, we extract the unsubscribe link and use a browser automation agent to complete the unsubscribe process on your behalf.

Data we process

When you forward an email to us, we temporarily process:

• Your email address — to know which email to unsubscribe and to send you a confirmation
• The forwarded email content — to extract the unsubscribe link (headers, HTML, and plain text)
• The unsubscribe URL — to navigate and complete the unsubscribe process

Data retention

We do not store your email content. Emails are processed in memory and discarded immediately after extracting the unsubscribe link. We may retain minimal logs (your email address, the target domain, and success/failure status) for up to 30 days for debugging and service improvement.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Mailgun — to receive your forwarded emails and send confirmation emails
• Browser Use — to automate the browser agent that clicks unsubscribe links
• Vercel — to host our website and API

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data
• We don't use your data for advertising
• We don't store the content of your emails
• We don't share your email address with third parties (except as required to deliver the service)

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us. Since we don't store email content, there's typically nothing to delete beyond basic logs.
